17 Communities to Benefit from CRP Interventions

The Community Renewal Programme (CRP) will be rolling out its social intervention initiatives to reach 17 communities in Kingston and St. Andrew.

The move comes following a successful pilot of the programme in Majesty Gardens in 2012.

“We were successful in the coordination of over 30 agencies around social development for Majesty Gardens,” said Technical Specialist for Socio-economic Development, CRP, Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ), Charmaine Brimm.

She was addressing a recent Think Tank, held at the JIS’ head office in Kingston.

The 17 communities to benefit from the CRP interventions are:  Delacree Park, Greenwich Town, Seaview Gardens, Trench Town, Jones Town, Maxfield Park, Tivoli Gardens, Denham Town, Fletcher’s Land, Central Kingston, Hannah Town, Greater Allman Town, Rae Town, Parade Gardens, Springfield Gardens, Rose Gardens and Franklin Town.
